About the role
YCC is managed by a volunteer committee of management with members being elected each year at our annual general meeting. As a Committee Member, you will work as a team to set and maintain the organisation’s vision and identity, organisational values and philosophy, set and review the strategic direction, approve organisational and Board policies, ensure the financial stability and long-term financial health of the organisation and you will be involved in ensuring the Centre is meeting the needs of the local community.
Meetings are held every six weeks, currently the meetings are held on a Tuesday evening and last for a maximum of two hours.
