About the role

The Uniting Church Synod of Victorian and Tasmania is a community of faithful followers of Jesus Christ coming together in worship, witness and service. We currently seek members for The Synod Audit Committee.
The responsibility to live out our Vision and Mission Principles and strategic priorities means that we need to be organised. We do this through diligent governance and by creating structures around us that help develop and share our resources, experience, wisdom and learning – with mission as our focus. We seek committee members with appropriate experience who share our commitment to good governance.
Our Vision articulates our passion and collective inspiration as the Synod of Victoria and Tasmania. Our Mission Principles seek to capture God’s ongoing story of love, grace and mercy known to us through Jesus Christ.
Together, our Vision and Mission Principles express who we are and who we are called to be as life-giving communities of faithful people.
