About the role
Are you keen to play a more hands-on role in the running of an early childhood service? Wanting to add new skills to your CV and expand your professional network?
If so, we are now calling for new members of the Committee of Management. A number of members will be leaving the Committee at the end of the year so there will be vacancies to fill. As a member, you have the opportunity to contribute to the direction of a $3 million turnover community-run organisation. This is the first time we have extended the invitation to external applicants.
Your most important qualification is your interest and engagement – but if you also have skills in HR, risk management, strategic planning, marketing and education, we would be thrilled to have you on board.
There are several sub-committees that work in collaboration with the main committee and committee members are encouraged to be involved: marketing, community engagement, sustainability and policy review for example.
Moreland Community Child Care Centres (MCCCC) is a not for profit, community-based early childhood service based in Brunswick. The organisation operates three sites in the area. MCCCC has a strong community focus and is regarded as a leader in the early childhood sector.
