About the Role

Friends for Good has been established to free people from loneliness. We are in the process of launching Friend Line, a new service where people can call and speak to a friendly volunteer to prevent loneliness. We are dynamic, motivated and looking for board members who are great contributors and most importantly team players.

We have two positions to fill and the new members can be either experienced at board participation or people with enthusiasm that would like to take on their first role. The skills we have identified as needed are in fundraising, psychology or legal. Commitment to our mission and work is by far the most important factor, as is a willingness to roll your sleeves up and participate.

This is an opportunity to volunteer and to be part of the only organisation working solely on loneliness in Australia.

Meetings are held in the Melbourne CBD in the evening every second month.
If you are interested in discussing this exciting opportunity please call Patricia on 0414 34 1985.
