About the role
Street Child is calling for individuals hoping to gain valuable experience in the development sector by undertaking a voluntary communications role in Liberia.
Street Child is currently seeking to conduct research on a number of issues affecting marginalised children in Liberia, to inform the design and development of appropriate initiatives. This placement is a unique opportunity to make a critical contribution to an organisation that is setting up and scaling its efforts to enable out of school children in Liberia to access a
meaningful education.
Working alongside the Street Child of Liberia team, key responsibilities will include:
● Collating case studies from the various Street Child projects in Liberia
● Building the visual media library of Liberia, including photographs and film footage for marketing purposes
● Training local staff on case study writing and photography
● Collecting, consolidating and analysing data from the field
● Liaising with local partners and stakeholders
● Weekly reporting from the Liberia team to the UK team
● Blog contribution in the field
● Researching interesting personal stories and the impact of the projects in Liberia
