About the role

Street Child is calling for individuals hoping to gain valuable experience in the development sector by undertaking a communications volunteer role in Sierra Leone.

Working alongside the Street Child of Sierra Leone team, key responsibilities will include:

● Collating case studies from the various Street Child projects in rural and urban Sierra Leone

● Building the visual media library of Sierra Leone, including photographs and film footage for marketing purposes

● Training local staff on case study writing and photography

● Collecting, consolidating and analysing data from the field

● Collaborating with local partners and stakeholders

● Liaising between local and international partners

● Drafting clear and effective written content for the Street Child website to build awareness of the work of Street Child of Sierra Leone

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn about the development sector through an immersive
experience, and to make a lasting contribution to the organisation and its aim to offer educational access to out of school children all over the world.
