Community Visitor Volunteer – Central Coast

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia and aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and older persons' mental health.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Community Visiting volunteer team at the Central Coast to visit our clients in the community for some fun social activities.

Some examples of activities:

• Taking a client out for coffee or to a point of interest
• Going for a walk outside
• Playing games, dominos, cards
• Having a “cuppa” and a chat
• Watching a movie together or reading the newspaper

The aim of these activities is to prevent our clients from becoming isolated in the community. For some clients, this will be the highlight of their week and the only chance they have for a social visit.
