About the role
ABOUT SPACE2b
Space2b is a social enterprise supporting newly arrived migrants and refugees to become financially independent. We support our participants to thrive by: connecting people; assisting them in their creative enterprise; facilitating workplace training and business mentoring.
Our creative community workspace includes a retail outlet, gallery, design studio, workshop, small business hub and soon a laneway cafe in the City of Port Phillip. Participants are able to build on their existing skills, increase their language skills, make connections and work with the local community to further their creative and economic independence.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Space2b has secured funds to develop our new permanent space by building a laneway café, training centre and modernising our gallery and changing room.
As the Construction Project Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the overall planning and coordination of the build according to the architect drawings, planning regulations and permits.
Working with Space2b management, you will be responsible for working with timeline and budget to create a professional and functional café space.
