About the Role

This role requires the volunteer to be the first point of contact for new referrals to the Medical Evacuation Response Group (Medevac Group), a partnership of specialist refugee support organisations that are working to ensure the safe, orderly and effective removal of critically ill people from Manus Island and Nauru. 

We are looking for incredible volunteers who have a background in social work, youth work, mental health, psychiatry, justice workers, teachers or PhD students with experience in these fields to assist with this important and urgent work.
