Digital Content Marketing Manager

**Please note: this is a VOLUNTARY ROLE within a non-profit organisation. All committee members work on a voluntary basis outside of normal working hours. Committee meetings are held in Bondi Junction every Wednesday until the event, which will be held on November 16th 2019.**

Who we are

We’re The Light Ball committee. The Light Ball Sydney is an annual black-tie event that raises money for mental health charities and helps tackle the global issue of mental health. Originating in Ireland, the committee is made up of 20 diverse young professionals, including expats from Ireland, the UK, USA and of course some Sydney locals, all of who are passionate about raising funds for mental health awareness.

So far, The Light Ball has raised $850k. We’re looking for a passionate, creative and dedicated person to join the committee and help us raise more money than ever before.

What we’re looking for:

A content manager to take ownership of our website and eDM distribution. You’ll be responsible for:

* Monitoring and coordinate website updates, maintaining and managing content

* Working with the marketing team to maximise brand exposure and achieve audience buy in and followings across social platforms *Develop and optimise Google Analytics and pixel tracking *Management and collation of charity’s database *Working with the marketing team to plan, build and dispatch eDM’s via ticketing platform *Tracking and monitoring the customer journey across our social and ticketing platforms

Who we’re looking for

This is a creative and fun role. It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious person who wants to broaden their content management and digital marketing experience. You’ll take ownership of the above aspects of the charity, so you’ll need to be proactive and take initiative.

We’re a lively and sociable bunch. We take our roles seriously, but not ourselves. Our committee meetings involve a lot of laughter and wine. We’re looking for someone friendly and fun, who is looking for an extra curricular activity that involves working hard for a worthy cause but in a social setting.
