Disability – Peer Support Volunteer

FamilyCare is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation offering welfare, carer and disability support services to families and young people in the west Hume region of Victoria.

FamilyCare works with the community to support families and young people. FamilyCare assists families and individuals by to enhance their lives through the provision of responsive and practical services. FamilyCare relies heavily on volunteers to support these programs and services.

The IntoRec program are seeking volunteers to join their team in the Shepparton and Seymour areas. If you have an interest in working with children/young people or adults with disabilities, we want to hear from you.

IntoRec supports children, young people and adults with a disability by providing social and recreational activities and opportunities. Volunteers work alongside staff to support participants in accessing and participating in the activities.

Hours are flexible and can be day, weekends and or late afternoon. All training and support is provided.
