EOI – Partnerships Director (Volunteer Position)

The Aurora Group is a charity, raising funds to disburse to gay, lesbian and transgender community organisations. Aurora exists so people can donate to a broad range of causes that benefit the community. It is the fund raising organisation people choose when they want their money to benefit the community as a whole and not just one specific cause.

The Partnerships Director is responsible for overseeing the development long-term sponsor support for the company and taking a leading role in the design and implementation of relationship building strategies for Aurora. Responsibilities include creating effective strategies for maximising partnership opportunities through collaboration with other Directors to target the aligned organisations and assist in the overall development of the company’s goals through collaboration initiatives.

The Partnerships Director will manage the development, pitching and delivery of partnership proposals across a number of target organisations through a planned, strategic approach. Quarterly and post event reporting measuring and defining success of Aurora’s sponsorship and partnership results will be produced for the Board.
