About the role
We are seeking a volunteer Executive Assistant to join us and help our busy CEO maximise time and outcomes by providing support and assistance with a range of administrative tasks.
Beyond Zero Emissions is a volunteer-powered climate solutions think tank. We rank as one of the top international think tanks, ranked 50th out of over 6,500 international think tanks, by The Lauder Institute at The University of Pennsylvania. BZE is one of only six Australian think tanks in this ranking. Here BZE ranks alongside high-profile Australian think tanks, like the Grattan Institute.
We’re based in the heart of Melbourne in Ross House, Australia’s only community owned and managed not-for-profit building, at 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne – easily accessible by public transport.
This volunteer role would suit someone that is well organised and used to completing tasks for an organisation or senior leader. In turn, this will help achieve our mission to show a zero emissions Australia is affordable and achievable now. We draw on the expertise of our volunteers to develop our research, communicate its outcomes and influence others.
Our office is small and friendly, with a busy schedule of work. Other volunteers join our staff of 6 regularly to help out with specific projects.
