About the role

Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services (Djerriwarrh) is a highly regarded not for profit charitable organisation which has been delivering high quality education, training, employment and youth support programs in the western suburbs of Melbourne since 1989.  Djerriwarrh’s Mission Statement is to ‘support individuals and the local community to learn, connect and grow’.  Djerriwarrh works in partnership with the community, other community based organisations, participants/clients and local, state and federal governments.

The Board is currently seeking a Board Director and a School Councillor.  The Board Director and School Councillor must have commitment to the organisation’s mission and the ability to work at a strategic level.  The Board welcomes applications from people who:

  • Have experience in adult or school education; or
  • Have a background in human resources, law, marketing, community development, youth services or accounting.

Board positions are honorary.
