Volunteering is an amazing way to give back to your local community plus getting to meet people from all walks of life is always a fantastic way to grow and learn.

There are many aspects of the Shop for you to get involved in including:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service

  • Keeping the store looking stylish

More specifically you will have:

  • A friendly and welcoming presence within the Shop
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A ‘Can Do’ attitude and positive team spirit

We offer an opportunity to:

  • Be part of a strong team that makes a difference to communities across Victoria
  • Learn the retail ‘tricks of the trade’ in a respected national not-for-profit organisation
  • Build lifelong friendships

We are Centrelink approved.

A little about us:

The St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia has more than 60,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to provide a ‘hand up’ to individuals experiencing disadvantage and combat social injustice. Our Vinnies Retail Shops raise much needed funds to provide practical support to over 300,000 Victorians each year. All funds raised by each Shop are invested back into the immediate local community.

Vinnies is more than a retail shop

Please note that prior to engaging in any Volunteer activity with the St Vincent de Paul Society some checks are required. These will include a National Criminal History Check and current Working with Children Check and may also include reference checking.
