About the role

GCG is currently on the hunt for a General Manager of Partnerships and Events (GM P&E) to join our Headquarters, reporting directly to the CEO.

The GM P&E role provides a unique opportunity for the right individual to be part of the leadership team of an award-winning organisation, to own the design and execution of the function’s strategy, lead a team of Associates, while developing a great professional network across consulting firms, universities, corporates and not-for-profits.

The GM P&E is responsible for developing and executing the P&E strategy to support GCG’s overall strategy, building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and partners, and for providing oversight and coordination of events across the entire GCG organisation.

The GM P&E leads the overall P&E function, manages P&E Associates at HQ, and provides guidance to the executive teams at the branch level. This role liaises mostly with the CEO and other GMs at HQ; and with Presidents and Partnerships & Events functional heads at the branches.

We are looking for a creative and proactive university qualified professional with experience in building and managing external stakeholder relationships. This role is ideal for someone who loves creating, coordinating and executing from scratch.

Please note, this is a new role within our organisation and the position description attached is an ‘ideal state’ that we envisage our GM P&E working towards.

To discuss this opportunity further, or if you are interested in learning about other opportunities at GCG HQ, please contact Alana at
