About the Role

Palms Australia’s overseas volunteer program is unlike any other in Australia. We place skilled volunteers in long-term placements in remote communities to build the skills of local people. We only place volunteers in communities that request their specific skills, which empowers them to achieve their unique goals.

We are currently recruiting volunteers for long-term placements in Timor-Leste, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati, Samoa, Kenya and Ethiopia. We are looking for:

  • Business, finance and administration specialists
  • Pre-school, primary and secondary teachers
  • Medical practitioners
  • Mechanics, carpenters, and trades professionals
  • Agriculture specialists/farmers
  • Community development specialists

As well as many others. You can use your skills to help create sustainable solutions to poverty in remote, developing communities around the world.
