About the role

About Us

Neighbourhood Connect is a national community organisation and charity which helps people across Australia create neighbourhood groups to encourage happier, safer and more connected communities. Because life is better when we belong. We help people turn streets into communities and foster a national network of neighbour groups. We make it easy for people to get to know those who live near them and to feel more connected and less lonely.

We have neighbour groups and a project team spanning six States / Territories, with the team contributing from home. Everyone involved is passionate about creating and supporting communities. The organisation has no core funding, and a small amount of project funding. Gaining funding is critical for the organisation (and therefore the number of neighbour groups) to continue and grow.
