About the role
Job Purpose:
The primary function of this role is to raise funds to support Seaside Scavenge (SS). You will be reaching out to corporates, councils, associations and identifying relevant grant opportunities on behalf of SS. This will require the ‘packaging’ of a range of opportunities that they can sponsor or engage with, as well as pitching these to the relevant audiences. You’ll play a crucial role in helping us liaise with interested parties and uncovering new revenue streams to enable the Scavenge to continue for years to come.
Candidate Profile:
If you have experience in sales and/or fundraising, are not shy of reaching out to people and would like to put your skills towards helping a great cause, then this volunteer role might be the right one for you. The ideal candidate would be proactive, not afraid of cold calling, can act independently and has a drive for hitting goals and smashing targets. Having a strong network on LinkedIn and being familiar to tracking different sales projects/goals are a plus.
