About the Role
We are looking for applications to join a dynamic team, if you have skills in hospitality or nutrition then we would like to hear from you. Your role will be to prepare and provide nutritionally balances snacks and lunches to our budding artists. You will also have the opportunity to be involved with the planning of this event and will be issues with a certificate or reference letter outlining your contributions to the program at its conclusion.
The award winning Art2Heart program has been successfully running for several years by local organisation JCI eastern. It a wonderful program for primary school aged students in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne at no cost to families.
A variety of different art forms are taught by local professional artist over 4 weeks during 2 – hour session on Saturday. The program concludes with an art exhibition and present ceremony for friends and family allowing students to display their creative endeavours made during the session.
JCI Eastern is a local chapter of Junior Chamber International and run a collection of programs throughout the year. JCI’s mission statement is “To give young people the tools they need to build the bridges of success and create genuine positive change. To plan and action community service and development projects for the betterment of our local communities”. JCI eastern provides opportunities for personal growth and development and the opportunity to be a positive influence on the local, national, and international community can be yours.
