About the Role
Western Edge Youth Arts (www.westernedge.org.au) is a not for profit arts organisation. Our vision is to enable diverse young people to make sense of the world they live in through art.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
The position is responsible for:
* The task of preparing/updating our employee HR Policies
* Building on our organisations existing policies, and updating them to current legislation
* In many cases using a professional HR template you might have access to create a new standard for us.
You will be working closely with the CEO, Artistic Director, and Board.
Key Selection Criteria
Ability to consider a holistic view of the organisation;
Demonstrated experience in human resources management;
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with strong attention to detail;
Possess high levels of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality;
Initiative and drive to self motivate and motivate others;
Passionate about providing quality service that supports and develops others;
Promotes inclusivity and collaboration;
Sound analytical skills, judgment and discretion;
Computer literacy skills
