About the Role

Job Purpose:

The primary function of this role is to support Seaside Scavenge (SS) deliver on its digital marketing & media strategy. The Marketing Coordinator will operate on a volunteer basis (minimum 2 hours a week, ideally more) and execute on social media tasks (predominantly, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn), email marketing (through MailChimp), content creation and media outreach.

 

Candidate Profile:

If you have experience in digital marketing or advertising and would like to put your skills towards helping a great cause, then this volunteer role might be the right one for you. The ideal candidate would be familiar with all main social media networks and willing to explore different ways to leverage them to grow our digital presence. He/she should have a basic knowledge of email marketing and be willing to write copy for our content across social media, email and blog. We are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of the media industry and wants an opportunity to learn more about it, while helping us achieve our marketing and media goals.
