About the role
The MS Brissie to the Bay event is one of the major bike riding events in Queensland. On the day, thousands of riders will be riding to help raise critical funds to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
This event is only ONE week away, taking place on Sunday, 18 June! There are a number of different riding courses and we urgently need additional volunteers to help out in the capacities of Course Marshals and Drink Station Assistants at the various allocated rest stops.
These volunteering opportunities are wonderful for groups. So why not get your family, friends, colleagues and neighbours out on the day and help cheer on our riders as they ride to help fight MS!
*Course Marshals:- Positioned in various locations along the 10km, 25km, 50km, 100km and 160km Classic courses. Duties will include: directing and supporting event participants; providing event information to participants and spectators; notifying event organisers if any problems arise.
*Drink Station Assistants:- There are 6 drink stations located along the course. Under the guidance of event organisers drink station assistants will help set-up, run and tear down their allocated drink station.
