About the Role

Ngullingi Ya Wahlu (meaning Us With You) is an exciting event happening right in the heart of the Commonwealth Games in Southport CBD.

This exciting event will run right next to the centre of activity at the Commonwealth Games in Southport CBD, and offer the Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander community an opportunity to educate around genuine Indigenous art, featuring;

Fine arts and sculpture
Poetry and performance
Cooking Demonstrations
creative workshops

and a fantastic opportunity to share traditional food and performances with a wonderful Indigenous Dinner Experience running over several nights.

To be part of this wonderful event as a volunteer, we would love your help with a range of activities, assisting to implement the event, gallery attendees, coffee Baristas, cooking, general volunteering activities.

Volunteers will receive: A welcome gift bag containing event tee-shirt, certificate of thanks, an indigenous seed bomb for your garden, and meals and refreshments FREE!
