About the role

On the south shore of Lake Managua is the capital city of Nicaragua where our partner, who aim to promote the growth and success of local women in business, is based.

Founded in 2009, the organisation is a platform for business women in Managua and throughout the country and they now work with over 250 women, who sell their products or services both locally and online.

Your role will be to undertake an internal review of their accounting processes and make recommendations for improvement. They are now using a system called ODDO and they would like you to analyse how they are using the system and make recommendations for improvement.

Career benefits: This broad and wide-ranging assignment is a great opportunity for accountants thinking about a career move to the international development sector to get an extensive insight in just a few weeks.

Dubbed as ‘the heartstring that holds the nation’s culture and commerce together, there is no other place like Managua in the world.
