About the role

Opportunity for people with the passion, skills and enthusiasm to make a difference with a long-standing and respected community services organisation

• Long standing and well-respected community services organisation
• Seeking voluntary Non-Executive Board Directors and Treasurer
• Opportunity to join the organisation following a period of growth and board rejuvenation

For more than two decades, our client has been supporting people with intellectual and cognitive disabilities and young people at risk to get the most from their lives. With a focus on providing tailored support to individuals and their families and helping to grow communities, the organisation now offers a wide range of programs and services within disability and community services.

Following a period of growth, strategic planning and Board rejuvenation, our client is currently seeking expressions of interest from people with the passion, skills and enthusiasm to make a difference through their skills and expertise in the positions of Board Director and or Treasurer.
Following the strategic planning the Board would like to expand the number of Board Directors and grow the Board’s skills in the areas of governance, strategy, finance, senior management and human services.

Board members may be invited to join a sub-committee (Governance/Strategy/ Finance) as well as attend the main Board meetings and can expect to commit around 5 hours a month approximately.
Ideally potential Board Directors will be based in the Albany region, however there is a possibility to attend Board meetings via teleconference depending on the Board Directors experience and skills.

If you are passionate about contributing to the organisations mission and have the commitment and skills to join the Board, please submit a brief covering letter (optional) and Resume in MS Word format by clicking the ‘Apply’ link on SEEK or via our website ‘Vacancies’ page at: www.anson.com.au/vacancies

Confidential enquiries may be directed to Dena Zarif, Director People and Culture on (08) 6140 2200.
