Mental Health & Arts Feedback Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Online Feedback Volunteers.

Your role will include interacting with online members giving positive feedback on their creative posts. We don’t ask for formal academic qualifications , as we believe motivation and enthusiasm is key , along with a passion for the arts and compassion about mental health struggles.

Mentoring will be provided. Spread your wings and come fly with us!

We provide a platform both online and offline for those who struggle with mental health, addiction, gender dysphoria , sexuality or who feel like they don’t quite ‘fit’, or feel estranged to this world : to express themselves through creativity.

We provide a global online platform for those who struggle with mental health, addiction, gender dysphoria, sexuality or who feel like they don’t quite ‘fit’, or feel estranged to this world : to express themselves through Creativity As Catharsis.

Combining Art & Catharsis and being CathARTic!
We are an exciting ground-breaking arts collective who who believe the arts are a great elixir and creativity is our currency. Our ethos is based on ‘pay it forward’ exchanging the arts for positive and encouraging feedback from our team of art-crazy volunteers and encouraging our members also,to create a ripple effect of positivity!

The arts is an area where we are all free to express ourselves , be liberated in a way that we can’t in our usual regimented , institutionalised world. It’s a place where we don’t have to colour within the lines , but we can go over the edges and…well…who knows where that might lead…. We see the arts as emancipation and an area where we can all be unified by transmitting and sharing expression , unified by love , the arts and expression.

We know that expressing ourselves through Creativity makes us all feel great and empowered! Fledgling Arts Collective Central believe that there are no ‘amateurs’ in the Arts & Creativity- WE ARE ALL ARTISTS ; and that the feel good ethos we encourage can really help with issues like building self esteem and helping to lift depression for instance.

The Ideal Applicant;

We are looking for a volunteer with the relevant skills to join our wonderful growing team.

You should have a passion for creativity and compassion for mental health

also;

◾dedication, commitment, imagination, working on own initiative, reliable,

◾At ease interacting with people online

Fledgling is currently run by Volunteers online , so this would be an online/virtual post.

A good future reference will be given to any volunteer that shows enthusiasm, commitment, reliability and general rapport.

We are very accepting of all people , if you are happy to do something for love rather than money, then Fledgling is the place to be!

Volunteers need to be able to commit to 2 rota days (preferably)- this is so you really have time to immerse yourself in our buzzing community of members and volunteers. You aren’t expected to be on for entire days or evenings , but just hop on and off on your rota days , to suit you.
You can Volunteer in the day or the evening or both!

Ideally we would like Volunteers to be able to commit to 6 months minimum.
