About the role

Online monitoring from your own desk

CPG is a dedicated group of volunteers across Australia who work together to inform the public about the cruelties of greyhound racing – www.greyhoundcoalition.com  www.facebook.com/CoalitionForTheProtectionOfGreyhounds

We welcome all kinds of volunteers – greyhound lovers, retired professionals, retired unskilled, academics, FT workers, people between work contracts, PT workers, young people, etc.

Two different roles

1) Daily scrutiny of online stewards’ reports in various states to catch racing greyhound injuries and deaths.

  • This work doesn’t take long, but the reports must be checked daily so you can alert our PR team and they’ll issue a news release to get local media coverage – greyhoundcoalition.com/cpg-in-the-media
  • Requires daily attention, dedication to detail, a determination to fight the racing industry because of the harm done to racing greyhounds, basic computer literacy and a reliable internet connection at your home. All work is done using your home equipment.
  • You’ll be a key member of a team which is ‘blowing the whistle’ on the industry and ensuring the public knows what’s really going on.

2) Flexible project work to collect death and injury stats for a specific racing track for a set period of time.

  • This work can be done at your own speed and according to your other commitments.
  • You’d collect data for six-month and/or one year periods, so our PR team can issue a news release to get local media coverage – greyhoundcoalition.com/cpg-in-the-media
