About the Role
The SAKGF will host an Open Garden weekend on 17 & 18 November at a private property near Denver Victoria. Enthusiastic event staff needed in the lead-up, on two shifts each day, and pack-down. We anticipate looking after 7,500 visitors over the weekend.
The range of roles is extensive from car park attendees, directing guests, assisting vendors (food, beverage, nurseries), provision of information, queue management, merchandise sales and support, shuttle service assistant, traffic management, environment management, garden specialist and more! You will be matched to the perfect role for your experience.
Volunteers will be provided with on-site parking, site access, a meal (at a time suitable to fit in with event peak periods) and refreshments. Volunteers will need to have their own vehicle to access the event.
Volunteers will need to attend one of the briefing sessions in the lead up to the event, either in Melbourne in late October/early November, or onsite on Thursday 15 & Friday 16 November.
