Operations Support Volunteer

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is looking for passionate and dedicated people to join our operations support team in Melbourne! Our operations team is at the forefront of our movement and is constantly striving to reach our mission – to build a movement of young people leading solutions to the climate crisis. This team is looking for a passionate volunteer who is interested in helping anywhere from 1-2 days a week.

Skills you will learn:

Help us build a movement of young people to combat the climate crisis by enhancing and growing your skills and knowledge in the following areas:

• Finance administration and literacy
• Best practice and industry standard policies and procedures
• Assist with office management duties

• Research – you will have the opportunity to hone your research skills with specific topics relating to organisational development and climate change
• Not-for-profit governance and compliance projects
• Other general operational support when necessary

The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in learning more about operations, finance and HR, who is dedicated and passionate about climate change and willing to just jump in and support the team with tasks that need to be done.
