About the Role
Be a part of the magic of the Pink Magellan Ashes Test. Returning for the 10th year in 2018, the Pink Test has become the iconic centrepiece of the partnership between Cricket Australia and the McGrath Foundation. The 2018 Ashes (Australia v England) promises to be action packed.
Day 3 of the Pink Test (6 Jan 2018) is Jane McGrath Day and is celebrated with the entire SCG turning pink in honour of Jane.
Money raised throughout the Pink Test goes towards supporting the McGrath Foundation in placing specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed – across Australia, for free.
Your primary role on the day will be to fundraise for the Foundation. Interacting with the SCG crowd, immerse yourself in the excitement of the event and collect donations. Other duties may include venue set up and pack down, packing bags, selling merchandise, and more.
Volunteer for one day or the entire Test; we’d love for you to be a part of our 10th year helping to make life that little bit easier for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer.
About the McGrath Foundation:
Every breast cancer experience is different. That’s why the McGrath Foundation aims to make life that little bit easier for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer. We raise money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed, and make breast health understanding a priority. Since 2005, more than 54,000 families have been supported by 117 McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.
