About the Role
The Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre Inc is seeking a person with a background in business, education or in Not for Profit community organisations, to lead the voluntary Committee of Management and staff team as their President. This person would be nominated for this position on the Committee, which will be elected at the Annual General Meeting to be held at 7.30 on 19 March 2018. The Committee of Management is elected for a term of one year, when all members may be re-nominated. Experience and/or qualifications in organisational leadership, community services, business finance and/or human resources would all be useful. The President would be expected to Chair meetings of the Committee of Management once a month throughout the year and the Annual General Meeting at the end of the year, and would also need to be available for reasonable periods during the day to ensure an involvement in the day to day operations of the Community Centre.
