About the role
Palliative Care WA’s Executive Committee is seeking an accountant with not-for-profit association knowledge and experience to assist with the financial management of the association.
A pro-bono Executive Committee (board) position is available for a suitable candidate in return for a few hours each month of overseeing the financial statements and participation in the financial direction of Palliative Care WA during Executive Committee and Finance and Governance Sub-committee meetings.
Palliative Care WA is a small, not-for-profit charity and the state, peak body representing palliative and end of life care. Palliative Care WA is a founding member of Palliative Care Australia, the national, peak organisation for end of life matters and is a community partner of Cancer Council Western Australia.
Palliative Care WA is an Incorporated Association has a part-time Finance Officer and an external auditor who prepares the Association’s Special Purpose Financial Statement at the end of the financial year.
