About the Role
McAuley Community Services for Women is a ministry of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea. We are committed to advocating for a better, safer and just society, through working with women and their children affected by family violence, mental illness or homelessness.
We have a new opportunity for Reception and Administration Volunteers (several positions). These positions are for 3 to 4 hours per week at our accommodation program, McAuley House.
Ideally applicants will be able to demonstrate:
Confident and professional communication skills
Ability to relate with a wide range of people
Competent in Microsoft Ofice Suite of programs
Familiar with office equipment such as photocopiers/printers
High level interpersonal communication skills.
Good organisational skills
Ability to work independently as appropriate, and following instructions.
Ability to work in a busy work environment
A National Name check and a Working with Children Check are required prior to commencement.
