About the Role

About Us

Seaside Scavenge is a waterway cleanup and clothes swap event where litter becomes the currency to purchase pre-loved clothes, books and more at our pop-up market. We invite local musicians to create a friendly vibe, facilitate talks by local environmental leaders and host upcycling workshops.

Since the inception of Seaside Scavenge in March 2015, we have held over 20 successful scavenges across the East Coast from Magnetic Island to Mornington Peninsula. At these events, we have collected a total of 2,502kg of litter, over 50,000 cigarette butts, traded 2,386kg of pre-loved clothes and connected with over 1,500 people in 14 communities.

The Scavenger Hunt

This year we are launching our first ever fundraising event – The Scavenger Hunt – and we are looking for Companies who are interested in participating!

The Scavenger Hunt will be an afternoon event in Coogee (October), where 10 teams will be tasked with completing puzzles and riddles that are all about sustainability & acting green in the workplace. This will be a great opportunity for team building, networking and getting employees to think about the environment!

If you are interested, please get in touch with us via email or social media!

Oceans of thanks!
