About the role
IndigiGrow is a ground-breaking new Aboriginal social enterprise. Our focus is on growing edible native plants as well as reviving the critically endangered local Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub. Based in La Perouse, IndigiGrow has a native plant nursery with over 100 different plant species.
We currently have 3 staff including two young Aboriginal school based apprentices. We are seeking volunteer horticulturalists to help out in the nursery with propagating, design, weed control and various other nursery tasks.
If this position appeals to you then please get in touch. As we are based in a school, all volunteers must pass a working with children’s check (free for volunteers) and a standard police check as well as providing 2 referees.
