About the role

AIM: Deliver a professional and personalised service to enrol, connect, support and retain Volunteering Gold Coast Members (non-for-profit organisations) and Corporate Partners (for-profit organisations) in order to build a powerful network that fosters a stronger social impact within the community.

DUTIES:
• Connect with and actively engage with VGC’s previous, current, and new Corporate Partners & Members (referrals from management and leadership team OR direct contacts from VGC website) in order to:
o Acquire and retain Members and Partners to creating a strong and collaborative network within the community
o Identify and address VGC Members and Corporate Partners’ needs in collaboration with the VGC team i.e.: volunteers, workshops, community events, team building etc.
o Introduce them to the VGC website and resource centre
o Answer enquiries (memberships options, Corporate Partners annual fee, benefits, etc)
o Ensure all aspects of their expectations are met in line with VGC’s service and product offering
o Provide regular information on functions and events conducted by VGC
o Provide support to the committed activities agreed with Partners and Members

• Assist the team with all the administrative and operational aspects of acquiring, following up on, managing and promoting new Members and Corporate Partners:
o Create volunteering position descriptions
o Maintain subscription lists and reporting tools
o Update bios of Corporate Partners and Members as required
o Assist in organising activities that market and promote the services of VGC

• Actively and positively promote:
o The benefits of bringing Members and Corporate Partners together through VGC to build a stronger community and achieve a stronger social impact
o The principles of volunteering to the community

REQUIREMENTS:
•Communicate effectively and possess a friendly & collaborative interpersonal skill set which will engender and differentiate the service offerings of VGC.
•Demonstrated understanding of and ability to carry out moderate level of administration duties.
•Experience in the Microsoft suite of programs with proficiency in Word and Excel.
•Must possess well-developed, time management and organisational skills.
•Ensure maximum flexibility, professional delivery and efficiency.
•To maintain confidentiality in all dealings associated with Volunteering Gold Coast Inc. and its members using the services.
•Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
•Able to work in a team and/or alone with minimal supervision.
