About the role

Are you social media savvy? We are looking for an individual to work closely with our Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager to ensure our audience knows about the next upcoming event/program. During events/programs, you will be updating our audience on what’s happening and get feedback. During non-event periods, you will help keep our social media active by interacting with the audience and posting consistently. The Graphic Designer will provide you with the content, whilst the Marketing Manager will instruct you on how to approach the platform using a marketing strategy to reach our audience.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Post and schedule social media content at least three times a week on Instagram and Facebook to promote health and wellbeing to our audience and new updates on programs/events using scheduling apps

  • Liaise with the Copywriter to ensure our content aligns with the organisation’s values, mission and objectives

  • Liaise with the Graphic Designer to receive content such as social media posts, podcast audios and videos to upload onto our social media platforms

  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager to reach target audience, provide feedback and strategize improvements

  • Use Facebook ads to for volunteer opportunities, recruitments and potential speakers

  • Analyse social media statistics to reach our target audience

  • Host interactive sessions with our audience such as using Live Instagram or Live Facebook

  • Gather feedback and data from our target audience using social media

  • Engage with audience by replying to comments, messages or redirecting enquiries appropriately

  • Upload podcasts onto Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram 

Skills & Experience

  • Punctuality and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Experience in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Spotify etc

  • Experience in Facebook advertising and creating Facebook events

  • Experience in creating and using Instagram reels, guides, IGTV etc 

  • Ability to strategise, organise and plan social media content calendar

IMPORTANT BEFORE APPLYING:

  • This is a voluntary position

  • Each position has a minimum commitment level of 2-3 hours a week, depending on the task at hand

  • We will use a project management tool to track KPI and keep all members up to date

  • On-site members are required proof of double vaccinations

  • Attendance to monthly meetings are required (either on-site or online)
