Social media content writer/Copywriter

Life Changing Experiences Foundation is a not for profit organisation that has been dedicated to changing the lives of disadvantaged teenage girls since 2003.

We are seeking a self motivated volunteer to join our very friendly team to create and post content for our social media using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This job can be done remotely but it would be ideal if you could come into the office once a week (preferably on a Tuesday) so we can communicate our upcoming events to help you plan content and so that you can be mentored by our lovely Social Media Manager. We have a structured plan in place for the year, and are now seeking a creative master of words to help us find and write content to plug into the plan. This would suit someone with a copywriting, communications or a journalism background.

Personal qualities we are seeking include:
• Clear communication skills – comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification on tasks
• Self motivated and organised and able to work autonomously.
• Able to volunteer 4-6 hours every week in our Surry Hills office or remotely if required.

Our office is small, but filled with colour, energy & laughter. Our team of 6 dedicated and inspiring women (some part-time, some volunteers) are passionate about our program and making a difference.

Our year-long mentoring and education program fosters resilience, confidence and critical life skills for underprivileged girls. Our 1:1 mentoring program gives teenage girls a positive female role model and inspires them to do great things in the future. We are not affiliated with any religion or religious institution.
