About the role
Hello, we are looking for someone to manage and work on our social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram and potentially Twitter to build interest and thus help raise funds to run our programs which use horses to work with veterans and first responders with their mental well being.
As a new charity we probably need a bit of extra work to get us started/up and running and we have some events at the end of January/early Feb that need some support/posts etc. Then ongoing, but not onerous.
We need someone experienced in both technical side/best way to posts/cross across different SM accounts and use SM to our best advantage, and also copywriting/post creation.
About the organisation
Horse Aid is a new charity started in October 2021 with programs due to start in 2022. We support veterans who are suffering from mental health challenges following their service and transition into civilian life. We want to also offer programs to first responders.
Our programs are led by experienced horseman Scott Brodie - ex mounted police trainer and now classical horse/riding trainer. We are based in Helensburgh, south of Sydney, NSW.
We will offer 1 and 4 day programs at Helensburgh once funding is raised.
