The program culminates with students harvesting large quantities of fresh food and hand delivering it in person to food relief agencies such as The Asylum Seekers Resource Centre and FareShare. The result is a comprehensive and practical hands-on experience that shows students they can have a direct impact on helping their community. The program also actually supplies a substantial amount of fresh organic food directly into the welfare system with up to two tonnes of food produced by students per year.
We are looking for volunteers to help us in the areas of marketing, private and government funding and social media.
