About the Role

Treasurer Vacancy
Permanent Care and Adoptive Families (PCA Families) delivers peer support, therapeutic programs and advocacy informed by strong lived experience and research. Funded through the Victorian Department of Human Services. The organisation offers a diverse range of services such as;
• Permanent Carer Helpline
• Flexible Funding Program
• Peer Support and Community Capacity Building
• Children and Youth Programs

Our Mission/Vision:
Every child deserves a family that loves and supports them. Trauma, grief, loss and attachment are issues all permanent care and adoptive families face. Our families are committed to helping their children thrive and so are we.

As the ‘go to’ organisation for the community, PCA Families delivers peer support, therapeutic programs and advocacy informed by strong lived experience and research.

Board Treasurer Role
We are seeking an experienced and committed Treasurer with a background working with NFP Boards or Committees. You should have a passion for making a difference for families and children.
It is an exciting time for PCA Families, so we need someone who aligns strongly with our mission and is keen to join the journey.
This is a voluntary, unpaid position.

Meeting Commitments
The Treasurer is required to attend the bi-monthly Board Meetings held every other fourth Wednesday of each month from 4pm till 6pm at PCA Families office in Melbourne CBD.
