About the role

Citizen Advocacy Sunbury is currently looking for a Treasurer to be apart of their Committee of Management.

Citizen Advocacy Sunbury is a small not for profit disability advocacy program funded by the Department of Social Services and managed by a voluntary committee made up of people in the local community who have a range of skills and interests.

The program has operated in Sunbury since 1985 and has been defending the rights and interests of hundreds of people with an intellectual disability over the years in our community, by matching them to caring responsible citizens who act voluntarily.

The Treasurer we seek, would need to attend a monthly committee meeting in Sunbury and at times give guidance to committee and staff (part time admin assistant & full time coordinator employed) around MYOB, payroll & superannuation obligations, EOFY preparation and reporting plus, BAS.
