Accounting for International Development offers every type of accountant, from anywhere in the world the opportunity to use their skills to support a broad range of non-profit organisations globally. Volunteer Accounting Assignments of between 2 weeks and 6 months form part of our ongoing strategy to build the financial management capacity of charities in over 50 countries.

Our partner addresses the lack of economic opportunities for youth from low income families through an innovative, holistic program designed to support and empower youth into turning their passions into sustainable careers.

They are seeking a pro bono accountant to review their progress since their first AfID volunteer, ensuring that they are properly adhering to the controls, and that they understand the use of all the financial management tools.

They have prepared their year-end accounts using Wave. They would benefit from the support of a pro bono accountant to review these, ensure that they have been correctly prepared and that they meet the statutory and compliance requirements. You would also be coaching their team on preparing budgets for grants and other proposals.
