Time required : 4-6 hours per week
Duration of project : Ongoing
Sector : Community Support Services, Law, Justice & Human Rights, Women
About the role
Women and Mentoring (WAM) run an early intervention, community based crime prevention program for adult women who are being charged, or are likely to be charged, with a criminal offence. Volunteer mentors are recruited, trained and supervised to provide support for offending women presenting at various Magistrates’ Courts.
We are seeing a volunteer bookkeeper to support the Operations Manager. This role could suit a recently-qualified bookkeeper looking for experience, or a retired person looking for a satisfying volunteer role.
The position will work from home initially, until COVID restrictions are eased. A combination of time in the office and time worked remotely can then be ongoing.
