About the role
A volunteer run organisation, Friends For Good is Australia’s first charity focusing solely on loneliness.
Founded in 2016, Friends for Good raises awareness of loneliness as a significant issue in the community and addresses gaps in services to foster a greater sense of connection and wellbeing for individuals and communities.
As a rapidly growing organisation providing a national service, as well as conducting research, events, facilitation of a national Alliance, and other initiatives to alleviate loneliness in individuals and communities, Friends for Good is seeking a reliable, dynamic volunteer coordinator to support our work.
The position involves activities such as:
Advertising volunteer positions
Interviewing prospective volunteers
Be a contact person for volunteers
Be responsible for volunteer related administration/documentation processes
Excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills are required for this role.
