About the Role

Do you want to make a difference to help women and children in domestic violence? We are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to assist with our new volunteer team. To provide extended support to women and children who have been affected by domestic/family violence who reside in either our refuge or one of our secure residential properties.

You will be transporting women/children residing in the Bayside area to medical appointments, general shopping and social support appointments using your own vehicle or Emerge’s vehicle.

This position is an ongoing role and you will be required to commit to a 12 month period with a maximum of 4 hours per month.

Volunteers need to be emotionally mature, empathetic, supportive and willing to listen.

You must hold a full licence with no convictions, Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
