About the role
Rise Above – Capital Region Cancer Relief is ALWAYS looking for more hands to lend help at fundraisers, functions and events.
In 2018 we have MANY events which need volunteers! If you know any social butterflies who want to help out at a few events per year, PLEASE email me as we are in dire need for volunteers.
Rise Above – Capital Region Cancer Relief helps lessen the monetary burden of a cancer diagnosis by supporting local families with fuel and grocery vouchers, payment of gas and electricity bills, payment for chemotherapy and pharmacy accounts. 100% of donations goes towards providing these services for over 900 people in the ACT and capital region.
We have great events like the craft beer and cider festival, Convoy for Cancer and if thats not your thing we also have fishing events, antique fairs, open gardens and endless opportunities for anyone to come lend a hand!
