About the Role
Help give the gift of sound this Christmas to deaf children by volunteering to gift wrap presents and sell Christmas bells at Brisbane Airport.
Hear and Say are excited to announce our upcoming Christmas Volunteering Gift Wrapping Station at Brisbane Domestic Airport in the lead up to Christmas.
We are calling on volunteers to donate any spare time over the festive season to help give the gift of sound to deaf children this Christmas.
All funds raised through this activity will ensure more children can enjoy the music, laughter and noise of Christmas morning.
Responsibilities: To help man a gift wrapping desk and sell Hear and Say Christmas bells to the public.
Skills needed: To be able to gift wrap all shapes and sizes of gifts in a timely and presentable manner.
Location: Brisbane Domestic Terminal
Shift Times: 11 December – 24 December 10am-3pm. We would prefer volunteers to complete a 5 hour shift, however half shifts are available upon request. Two volunteers will be allocated per shift.
Parking: Volunteer parking passes are available.
Security Checks: You will need to go through Domestic Terminal Security prior to your shift.
