VSU Administration Volunteer

Court Network is a frontline community organisation that supports people to access the court system. Our role is to empower and increase the confidence of court users to manage the requirements of the courts. Established in 1980 in Victoria, Court Network operates on a state-wide basis in Victoria, and in Queensland in Brisbane, Ipswich, Townsville and Cairns, providing court-based non-legal support, information and referrals to members of the community. Services are delivered by over 400 highly-trained volunteer networkers who provide support on a non-judgemental and confidential basis.

Our vision is to provide the community with volunteer who stand beside, empower and instil confidence in all court users.

We are currently recruiting for a Volunteer Administration Assistant to work in our Victim Support Unit (Brisbane office), based at the Supreme and District Courthouse, Brisbane. Due to the nature of the role, we are seeking someone who is friendly and personable with:

* High accuracy skills in data entry
* Excellent attention to detail
* Computer skills

This role will provide complementary administrative support in a busy working environment on Wednesdays for approximately 4-6 hours. Assistance is required with:

* Electronic filing (inc. sorting through and saving emails, creating electronic folders)
* Reviewing electronic forms and updating to the most current version
* Sorting through a suite of paper-based brochures to confirm currency, re-ordering new versions and developing list of required brochures to assist with ongoing maintenance
